PokerRoom Back After 2 Year Hiatus

PokerRoom, a former US poker room that was popular in the early days of online poker has made an epic comeback. Not only are you in for some of the best poker action you’ve seen in quite some time. They’ve been a pretty solid choice for real money players, and although there are a multitude of decent sites – this is assuredly a good one.  As such, we think that done a good job in the past, but it’s easy to tell that their hiatus was spent tweaking and improving the site. In a few words – it was time well spent.

For those who aren’t necessarily PokerRoom veterans, PokerRoom has a few different games for you to enjoy. Fortunately enough, they have all of the staples here, including Texas Hold’em, Omaha, 5 Card Draw, and 7 Card Stud. As earlier stated, you have the option of playing cash games against some decent competition. And even though the site just opened up again, even at this moment you wouldn’t be particularly hard pressed to jump in and get to playing.

And speaking of which, you’ll find that you’ll be able to play efficiently, allowing perfectly for a person to pick up a game when they’re not at their computer, much like other sites. You have the option of downloading PokerRoom’s software, or alternatively, you can play straight from your browser. As you’d expect, both of these things work well, and we haven’t experienced any problems logging in or jumping into any game that we wanted to. Of course, you can connect and play via PC or Mac, and there didn’t seem to be any issues regarding that, either.

But, one of the things that seemed to make PokerRoom stand out as a good venue for poker games is their welcoming bonus. While it’s something that we see in the industry, and even though this may not be astronomical, it’s good that they’re coming out and starting on the right foot.

All in all, it seems as if PokerRoom has come back in a very strong way, featuring more than enough reasons for new and old players to jump back into the fray. And like just about any gaming site that has recently come back online – it’s definitely got a lot of energy, and that means that the community will be even more vibrant than one that didn’t have such a long hiatus. And if you’ve been playing online poker for a good amount of time, you know what kind of element that can bring to any game.
